Since the Gem County Relay for Life began, WKMH has supported the event through volunteers, first aid, and medical equipment donations. 

The hospital relay team, named Knox Out Cancer, is a fundraising team, mostly consisting of employees. The hospital also supports Look Good Feel Better classes, and reference materials from the American Cancer Society.
