Smoking Policy

 

For your health and the health of others, smoking is not allowed within 20 feet of the hospital entrances.

  • Effective April 1, 2010, Walter Knox Memorial Hospital will become a tobacco free environment.

No smoking or chewing of tobacco products will be allowed by visitors, patients, or employees within or on the facilities of Walter Knox Memorial Hospital. Smoking will not be allowed in personal vehicles at any time.

Upon admission, patients will be advised of the tobacco policy. Nicotine replacement options may be offered by physicians to help patients who have difficulty not using tobacco products while at Walter Knox Memorial Hospital.
